The practice
At 29 boulevard Pasteur, in the heart of Évreux, the eye centre brings consultation, imaging and laser treatment together under one roof. You are seen in a space designed for calm, comfort and privacy.
A team that works in pairs
The ophthalmologist and the orthoptist share the consultation between them. The orthoptist takes the measurements first — visual acuity, refraction, intraocular pressure — then carries out whichever imaging your reason for coming calls for. The ophthalmologist then reviews everything, performs the medical examination and makes the diagnosis. Working this way shortens the wait for an appointment without shortening the time spent with you.
Diagnostic equipment on site
Further tests are carried out at the practice, usually during the same visit. You do not have to come back another day, and your ophthalmologist has the images in front of them at the very moment they explain what they are seeing.
- OCT — a cross-section of the retina and optic nerve
- OCT angiography, with no contrast injection
- Automated visual field testing

Booking an appointment
Appointments can be booked online through Doctolib at any hour, or by telephone during reception hours. Do say what the appointment is for when you book: an annual check, something that has just started bothering you, and a pre-surgical opinion need neither the same length of slot nor the same kind. If your GP has referred you, bring their letter — it shapes the examination.
